Even though Ron Paul would cut spending as a President anyway, he now has vowed to be very specific about cutting the spending that goes towards the incompetent and invasive bureaucracy of the TSA. The State Is The Destructive Agent Of Civilization.

The State is the destructive agent of civilization and it has the tendency to practice fascism - using coercion and political extortion - which drags in the large corporations. The State then uses this arrangement as a smokescreen to hide itself, and further advances its totalitarian tentacles of political extortion by then propagandizing the evils of businesses and entrepreneurs and real capital (real capital in contrast to the phony credit created by the State’s counterfeiting operation - the central bank).

Kerber In Germany And Koerber In Iowa Know The Eurozone Will Crumble.

From today's Open Europe news summary:

German Professor Markus Kerber argues in Handelsblatt that "Germany should leave the eurozone", noting that "the impossibility to apply all those big EU measures towards Greece should lead to the conclusion that the solution for the eurozone’s problems no longer can be found within the current system, but should be reached through an organised exit from the eurozone."

And this Professor Koerber, who lives in Cedar Rapids, Iowa also 'argues' that Germany should leave the eurozone!

Leaving is not a bad thing (O the horror!) but rather it is merely good evidence that the economic laws associated with the equilibrium power inherent in the economy are becoming undeniably inviolable. Sure the law of gravity seems to be violated when the ball is thrown up but that is a short term phenomenon! So too with the economic idiocy of Keynesianism and all of the variants of interventionism.

FYI, I am not related (as far as I know) to Ernest von Koerber, who was the Prime Minister during the time when Bohm-Bawerk was finance minister. I am just an outsider looking in and so I was interested to hear about Austria from an Austrian economist living in Austria.

My suggestion is to get a law passed that uses the regression theorem of intervention to trace the costs of the criminal interventions back to the individuals who initiated them. Such a law would make it costly for politicians and bureaucrats to give benefits to people, because they themselves would be the ones who would have to pay for their criminal intervention.

Step By Step Exit From Socialism.

Let those who want to opt out of socialism, even if it is in stages, let them do so. The first step would be to allow some to opt for a 10% income tax with no other socialistic demands either by the government on those individuals or by the individuals who choose this option. In contrast, those who choose to remain under socialism will pay the taxes necessary to support that scourge.

The next step would be to give people a couple of other options: to opt completely out of the government-associated arbitration system and also to choose among competing currencies (with gold and silver being recognized as legal tender). One flaw in the Founders design was the government-associated arbitration system.

The next step would be to give people another option: to opt completely out of the income tax and pay only the taxes and tariffs used to support a limited and constitutionally-amended smaller government.

Those still clinging to the dilapitated socialist system can stay in that impoverished system as long as they choose to do so.

Yuri Maltsev Can Compare The U.S. And The Soviet Union.

One of the beauties of the value of what Yuri Maltsev has to say is pointing out the similarity between the fascist/socialism of the United States and the communist/socialism of the former Soviet Union. Take Afghanistan for example. Take the two-faced single party system in the United States and the one party system of the Soviet Union. Take the CIA in the United States and the KGB in the United States. Take the strip searches at the airports in the United States and the internal passports in the Soviet Union.

It sure would be a great act of courage if Yuri could find the means to begin making the circuit around the country in a manner similar to Tom Woods. Since both are Austrian economists they can guide their audience to literature that will educate them about the power of economic knowledge.

Disgraceful, Criminal Lame Duck Congress!

Lame Duck now, under the manipulative control of the unConstitutional coup, has become like a duck season with no limit, shooting down the Constitution with reckless abandon.

In civics books lame duck was described as a period of latency but that was before the unConstitutional coup usurped the political system by buying off the politicians in both camps and thereby cementing into one party a two-headed, forked-tongued serpent, outwardly appearing as contrasting each other but inwardly just doing the bidding of the unConstitutional coup.

Lame Duck has become one of the greatest tools for the expansion of fascism and socialism. Somehow the feathers of the lame duck Congress need to be plucked, perhaps by limiting the effective duration of all their decisions to a 90 day period.

The Constitution is being vigorously attacked by the unConstitutional coup and it is using the lame duck Congress to commit these treasonous acts.

Ben Bernanke Is A Keynesian.

So when Ron Paul interviews a Monetarist they can have a thought-provoking analytical conversation and examine consequences and cause and effect. It is clear that this is not possible in the Congressional hearings with Ben Bernanke. He cannot speak analytically other than the platitudes of status quo. Which means Bernanke is not a Monetarist.

And since Bernanke quotes Keynes and speaks as if there is some substance in the Keynesian pseudoeconomics we have to assume that Bernanke is a Keynesian.

How Many Socialist U.S. Presidents Will It Take Before We Say Enough?

In the days of the expansion of socialism as part of the New Deal plan hardly anyone knew that Keynesianism was just a fancy word for a fanciful version of socialism. And so Roosevelt could promote the New Deal and appear to be something other than a socialist.

Although there are a few economic boobs like Paul Krugman who openly trumpet Keynesianism, most cannot with a straight face separate Keynesianism from central planning (socialism), and so rhetoric has to be resorted to in an attempt to try to camouflage its true nature.

But Keynesianism looks and smells and tastes and sounds like socialism to anyone that is paying attention. An economic crisis causes people to pay attention!

Hence, Obama is seen as a socialist.

The poll should really be about testing the knowledge of the voting public by asking "Has there been any U.S. President since 1912 that was not expected to be an advocate for central planning?"

Are Taxes Beneficial? - Alabama Case Study.

Greece Unrest Can Be Resolved By The Regression Theorem Of Intervention.

Why the unrest in Greece? Why else, austerity for the people of Greece while the criminal ego-driven interventionists sit comfortably in their seats of authority!

It is good that a relatively small nation like Greece is the testing ground for a new push for justice. Can the system of justice in Greece function free from control by the ego-driven interventionists, that is the big question? Justice is essential if this chronic problem is to be truly resolved. Justice can only be achieved if the system of justice can function independently of the interventionists and if the system of justice in Greece acts strongly against the theft and corruption perpetrated by the ego-driven interventionists.

Now it is a scientifically known fact that the perpetrators of economic disasters can be held accountable for their destructive and corrupt actions. The regression theorem of intervention states clearly that the destructiveness of intervention can be traced back to those who initiated the intervention.

The cause and effect nature of economics combined with the recognition that there is no moral authority to intervene into the economy is the starting point of the investigation into the determination of what portion of each of these acts of intervention is to be assigned to each of the ego-driven interventionists. Of course their financial resources will be confiscated and most likely they will be imprisoned as part of their punishment for their economic crimes.

Then the Greece example can then be extended to the rest of the world to eventually rid humanity of the criminal ego-driven interventionists who are really just functioning as economic terrorists due to their economic ignorance stemming from their indoctrination in fallacious Keynesian doctrines.

One of the main reasons the behavior is different is because the response is different. Imagine yourself at a government run service demanding better service or even asking to speak to the 'manager.' Both of these requests will be fruitless.

The Health Care Disaster Is Caused By Managed Care By The Government.

Bankrate: One would normally expect a doctor to be heavily involved in health care issues, not monetary policy.

Ron Paul: It's a disaster! As a matter of fact, it was in the early '70s when the Republicans started accelerating intervention and having managed care. That's when the tax codes changed and there were mandates. It was the government all of those years that has participated in pushing the cost of medicine up and causing it to become bureaucratic and causing the charity hospitals to go out of business. Managed care has been around (since) about the same time as we lost the gold standard, and it's managed care that we should blame.

The real problem with medical care is it costs too much. Nobody would complain if it didn't cost so much. But it costs so much because of inflation plus the bureaucracy we've created.

Politicians Are Corrupted In Democracies.

What happens to a politician as his or her power grows?

First of all the desire to be a politician is necessarily a corruption of character. Rare as it is, there is an alternative way to be of service that is not ego-driven. A statesman is completely different from a politician.

So, the starting point for the politician is already lustful and ego-driven. Success along this path does nothing but encourage the further depreciation of character. The keys to success in democracy - and one of the reasons democracy is so vile - are putting into place socialism and fascism. Lying and scheming are the necessary skills to accomplish these corrupt practices.

As power grows in the hands of the politician they become more and more a two-fold persona. Sometimes it is in their interest to take a stance as a socialistic fascist to achieve maximum power and at other times it is in their interest to act in the manner of a fascistic socialist.

And then as they rise through the ranks and become a well-known politician they have to show another side which is their side as an ordinary person, a husband or a wife, or as a 'family man' so to speak. These multiple personas contribute to the psychosis and is pushed along by the nature of the politician to be ego-driven.

In that perverse state, ego-driven interpretation intensifies and stimulates an irresistable desire for more and more ego-driven interventionism. This is the same cycle as earlier but now it is more influential over their conscience and ultimately this leads to the lack of conscience.

This explains their actions such as bombing innocent people.
