The main commonality is that they are no longer safe havens for political extortionists.

They think that they have enough power to continue to expand totalitarianism but what they fail to realize is that they are the minority. The instant that the majority recognizes that these ego-driven interventionists are the ones stealing and lying and killing, that is the instant that they will be sought after as the criminals that they are.

National Foreclosure Prevention Program Stinks Like Socialism.

Since the ones in control (the czars appointed to do the bidding of the unConstitutional coup) cannot fathom a market solution (they are mostly socialists but wholly ego-driven interventionists) they look around for political solutions. They see an initiative that they like for whatever reason - it could be that the negative consequences have not yet reared its ugly head, or it could be internal corruption from lobbying by political kingpins, or it could be some other fascist or socialist slant - and then they try to apply it at a grander scale.

In other words there are definitely unintended consequences but these are also consequences not even of primary importance to the grand scheme of power-grabbing. Are any of these czars affected personally since they are appointed not elected and since they can hide in the cancerous bureaucracy?

As long as the unConstitutional coup lives so too will all the consequences of its economic terrorism!

U.S. Senators Are Poorly Educated.

Whatever their background these Senators are now responsible for making decisions about issues that require an understanding of economics. They are either dependent on economic advice from some quack espousing Keynesianism or they fall back on the elementary indoctrination in Keynesian economics that they received as part of their poor education.

As a consequence the U.S. Senate is composed of economic imbeciles, and their stupidity and socialist leanings are destroying each and every foundation of prosperity.

For example, the Senate version of health care is really just a tax hike and a forced nationalization of health insurance.

It is time to return to the Constitutional method for the selection of members of the Senate. In the meantime do whatever you can by voting not to re-elect these foolish political nincompoops.

Ideological Change Is Unnoticed By Socialists.

When does an ideological change take place and what percentage of the populace is needed to 'get the ball rolling?'

Ideological change happens when there is a firm conviction that is basically overwhelming. In our case it is overwhelming because of the foundation of truth that is in classical liberalism. Ideological change happens when there is a light breaking like the dawn of a new day and there is an irresistable torrent of excitement in anticipation of its arrival. This is what we are feeling as lovers of liberty and justice.

It is true that in chemistry the smallest amount of a catalyst may trigger a reaction but we are humans not atoms. In our domain of subjectivism, deep in our subjectivist nature lies the answer to the question about what percentage of the populace is needed to 'get the ball rolling.' One thing is for sure - Ron Paul is generating an increase in percentages and so is the Mises Institute, and Peter Schiff, and Tom Woods, and the list is growing.

Ideological change is like a thunderstorm. It forms as a result of the prevailing conditions, it builds and has numerous layers, it is announced by thunder, and it carries a great charge of lightning, wind, rain and hail. It clears the air and afterwards everyone reaps the benefits and fixes those things that are worthwhile.

Ron Paul Says Washington, D.C. Is Run By Keynesians.

It is refreshing to watch a news interview that does not start with the assumption that the contemporary American political system is beneficial. Ron Paul addressed this exactly when he said that those in Washington, D.C. are Keynesians now with socialistic leanings. There is nothing beneficial or ethical about Keynesianism or socialism.

This interview allows the viewer to question what are obviously corrupt actions taken by the politicians. In contrast, Ron Paul speaks boldly and honestly about the financial condition of our nation and the ridiculous directions being taken by those benefitting from the corruption.

If the news media could free itself from the fetters of the unConstitutional coup then the freedom of press would regain its righteousness.
